Taqasim Music School, founded by Iraqi Oud Master Ahmed Mukhtar, was established in 2011 to teach one of the most significant Oriental instruments called Oud, among other instruments and disciplines that represent Middle Eastern Music.

All courses are now being held in person at the Arab British Centre.

Taqasim Open Day: Saturday 13 January 2024, 12-4pm. A chance to meet the tutors and discuss the courses ahead of the new term starting.

Oud Clinic (in person): Friday 2 March 2024, 4.30-8pm. Students and others can book in for string repairs and tuning.
